Tottenham Hotspur attacker Lucas Moura could be on his way to Saudi Arabia this summer, according to reports from Brazil.

UOL says the 30-year-old currently ‘progresses in talks’ with two clubs, and one is ‘more advanced than the other’. For now, the names of the interested sides are not revealed.

Following the departure from Tottenham, which will be fully completed at the end of the month, Moura is reportedly interested in making a ‘long term contract’ of over two years.

Even though he already draws the interest from MLS clubs, UOL claims that only after this big deal will he think of giving it a try in the United States.

Moura’s contract with Tottenham expires at the end of June. It’s already been confirmed that he’s leaving the club, so he has been able to focus on finding a new club to play for a while now.

The player had also been linked to Brazilian sides in the past few months, and used to say he’d like to stay in Europe, as he still had quality to play there.

Now it seems something else could attract him to Saudi Arabia.
