You may think Cristiano Ronaldo is an excellent footballer, but according to Don Balon he’s much more than that.
The Spanish website, one of the wilder rumour pushers from the country, continually state that Ronaldo picks transfers at Real Madrid and Lionel Messi does the same at Barcelona.
In his role as an unofficial Director of Football, Ronaldo has identified and sanctioned a transfer: And that’s getting Mohamed Salah from Liverpool.
Despite Don Balon and others in Spain pushing the idea of the Liverpool transfer, it’s not really gained a lot of speed. Marca, for example, haven’t been publishing repeat articles about a possible move for Salah, and right now there doesn’t appear a great deal of worry for Jurgen Klopp.
That could change, but Florentino Perez could be put off by already knowing Liverpool would want all kinds of records broken if they’re to part with their latest superstar.
