Portuguese giants FC Porto are set to have important conversations for the signing of Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos today.
According to newspaper A Bola, the player’s agent Micheal Gorman is meeting the Dragons at the club’s headquarters to discuss the possibility of a summer move.
The outlet says this could be a ‘giant step to accelerate the transfer’, as they’ll sort the details of an official offer that will be made to Steven Gerrard’s side.
A Bola claims that Porto do not want to pay over €12m for Morelos, and in order to convince Rangers, could add a few performance bonuses to make the deal bigger.
It’s said that Micheal Gorman’s mission is to find an agreement between the two sides for a deal to be made in the next month.
The newspaper makes it clear that Morelos wants the move, and claims he’s already agreed to a contract of five-years worth €1.8m per season.
The fact that he’s recently posted a video with his goals scored by Rangers is seen as a sign that his farewell from the club is about to happen.
