Turkish website Fotospor report Celtic and Rangers are showing an interest in Fenerbahce winger Bright Osayi-Samuel.

Both Celtic and Rangers will be looking to add to their squads in the next window and the former Queens Park Rangers forward looks to be an option. Steven Gerrard’s objective will be to defend the league title whilst Celtic will looking to win it back after they lost it to their local rivals.

Only today Celtic were linked with another Super Lig forward, Aaron Boupendza, who currently plays for Hatayspor.

Fener signed Osayi-Samuel from QPR in the last winter transfer window on a cut-price fee but he hasn’t performed to the standard expected. Subsequently there are reports in the Turkish media that he could depart the Super Lig club this summer.

It’s also reported the Turkish side are looking to rebuild their squad by offloading some of their current players, including Bright Osayi-Samuel.

The Nigerian made 18 Super Lig appearances for Fenerbahce last season, scoring just one goal and providing an assist. His contract with the Yellow Canaries will expire at the end of June 2025.
