Bruno Martins Indi is pretty happy after moving to Stoke City. The defender, who had been forgotten at FC Porto and wasn’t used during the early part of the season, has now found a place where he’s important and played all the matches since being available.

He already has nine appearances for the Potters, all of them in the starting eleven, being able to get back his old form and getting a call up for the Dutch national team once again.

The 24-year-old spoke to the Portuguese media during international duty, and didn’t show any regret in leaving Porto. Speaking to A Bola, he said: “The change to Stoke City was a good decision for my career.

After recent quotes from manager Mark Hughes saying the player’s loan could become a permanent transfer soon, the Portuguese press took it with a bit of exaggeration to say Stoke would use their buying option before expected.

But still, even if not done so soon, both Hughes and Martins Indi seem very happy, and this story shouldhave a happy end.
