Player has ‘agreement in principle’ with Manchester United and another club – Red Devils ‘one step ahead’ for now

There’s no denying that Manchester Untied are turning up the heat to try and sign Rasmus Højlund from Atalanta.

However, they aren’t the only ones, as Paris Saint-Germain have also come forward with an offer, even if it is lower than the Red Devils’.

RMC Sport corroborate those reports on Thursday, and add a bit more, which could worry Manchester United fans.

Despite reports from Italy that the Denmark international would favour a move to Old Trafford over France, he is preparing for a possibility where Atalanta don’t reach an agreement with Erik ten Hag’s side.

That’s what RMC Sport suggest, as they state the young forward has an ‘agreement in principle’ with both clubs when it comes to personal terms.

As Atalanta are asking for €70m and Paris Saint-Germain aren’t prepared to go that high, Manchester United still appear to be in front at the moment, and that’s why the French outlet state they are ‘one step ahead’ for the time being.

The 20-year-old scored nine goals in his first season in Serie A during the last campaign after his move from Sturm Graz.
