Last summer, Wolverhampton Wanderers took Francisco Trincão on a season-long loan deal from Barcelona and as a part of the agreement, the English club retain an option to make his stay permanent.
The two clubs did business again in January when Wolves allowed Adama Traoré return to the Camp Nou on a temporary deal, with an option to buy.
Both the players are represented by Jorge Mendes and the super-agent could be involved again in sorting out the duo’s long-term futures.
According to Sport, Bruno Lage’s side are ‘open to an Adama- Trincão swap with Barça’.
Mendes has designed an operation in such a way that the Portuguese international and Traoré will continue at Wolves and the Catalan club respectively beyond this campaign.
The representative has managed to get the approval of all parties involved in the swap operation, which will see Trincão join the Premier League side on a permanent deal, while the Spain international will sign a four-year deal with Barca in the summer.
Sport’s report make it clear the exchange deal involving the attacking duo will take place and it ‘would be without money involved’.
Trincão has made 19 appearances in all competitions for Wolves this season.
