Donny van de Beek to Inter Milan claims are building in the Italian media, although there’s a mixed stance on them.

Some sources insist Manchester United have no intention of letting the Dutchman leave, on any kind of deal during the winter window, whilst others have a little more optimism.

Calciomercato state Inter have no money to spend during the winter market, so the idea of an exchange of loans with the Premier League club has been brought back. As far as the report has it, Van de Beek is tempted to leave Old Trafford during the January window, as he looks to get a place in the Netherlands side for Euro 2020.

It’s no surprise that the Inter player pushed forward for a loan is Christian Eriksen, with it being stated the player is ‘an old goal for Solskjaer’. That seems unlikely, and if Van de Beek is struggling for prominence then it’s not clear to see how the former Tottenham player would get it.

Eriksen would also cost Manchester United more in wages than Van de Beek does, and there doesn’t seem to be any tangible benefit in this idea for the Red Devils.

It sounds like wishful thinking from Italy.
