Currently out with a knee injury, Christopher Jullien has had to spend most of the season on the sidelines.

Watching Celtic struggle from afar, the Frenchman is expected to come back sometime in May, where he will try and regain some fitness ahead of next season.

With everything pretty much already played for in the current campaign, there’s no reason to rush him back, with the upcoming one the perfect time to set things right and do everything in their power to regain the Scottish Premiership title from Rangers.

It appears that’s what he wants to do, with the 27-year-old far from interested about a return to France, where he spent most of his career prior to his transfer to Parkhead.

Speaking to Club VIP, relayed by Le10 Sport, the centre-back was asked about a potential move to Marseille, where Olivier Ntcham is currently on loan.

He said: “OM? Wow… I think that it’s hard to predict the future in football. I don’t know what mine will be made of. For now, I’m at Celtic. I have two years left and an injury I need to recover from. I’m French, but I’m not obligated to return to France”.

It seems Jullien has other goals in mind for the next years of his career, with Celtic still having a part to play in it for now.

Beyond that, however, only time will tell.
