Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur are both interested in Juventus fullback Andrea Cambiaso, according to claims from the Italian media.

TuttoMercatoWeb features an exclusive story about the race for the 23-year-old, claiming several clubs have been watching his situation with the Bianconeri.

It’s said that Nottingham Forest and Tottenham, along with AC Milan, all like the player, even though it shoudn’t be easy to take him from Juventus.

The Old Lady aren’t prioritising his transfer, even though a discussion ‘could develop’ soon.

Cambiaso’s agent Giovanni Bia this week spoke to Sky Italia, and explained the situation, claiming that despite the interest from several clubs, Juventus plan to keep the player.

“Juventus strongly wanted him, they put a lot of money on the table and they will certainly make their own assessments before depriving themselves of him and I think they will also ask for a lot of money,” said the representative.

“What is happening is there for all to see. Last week some teams approached and I think that something will happen here too, but Juventus will not deprive themselves of him easily.”

Tottenham’s interest in Cambiaso isn’t new, as earlier this week, it was claimed by Sky Italia that Spurs were one of the clubs to have made enquiries about the player. Now Nottingham Forest seem to be joining them in the battle to bring the 23-year-old to the Premier League.

It had been claimed that Juventus wanted €25m for the sale, and that’s a high price for a young defender who’s just returned from his loan at Bologna.
