Borja Sainz has made an impact at Norwich City this season, scoring 11 times and picking up two assists in 15 Championship games.
This is his second season at Carrow Road and the Spaniard has already scored more goals than he did last season, as Norwich aim to return to the Premier League once again.
It now seems as if the 23-year-old may not be at the club for too long and is keeping an eye on other opportunities.
Radio Popular de Bilbao have reported about the winger’s situation, stating that Villarreal, Atletico Madrid and clubs from the Premier League and Turkey are interested in Sainz.
Sources close to the player have informed the outlet that the Spaniard is ‘waiting for’ a move to Atleti. He is said to be waiting for the major changes that the Colchoneros will soon make to their squad, before potentially sealing a move.
Atletico are his preferred destination and the feeling is that Sainz is slowly establishing himself in the game this season.
The winger has played for two clubs in Spain in the past and has also played in Turkey, where he scored ten times in all competitions for Giresunspor.
