Everton have not received an offer for Amadou Onana as yet and ‘haven’t decided to sell him’ this month.
That’s according to journalist Alexandre Braeckman, who says the Blues are ‘very far’ from selling the Belgian midfielder and ‘no offer’ has arrived for him anyway.
Everton currently find themselves bouncing from crisis to crisis after deciding to sack Frank Lampard yesterday and missing out on Arnaut Danjuma, who has decided to join Tottenham instead.
They also find themselves dealing with interest in their key players, with the likes of Anthony Gordon and Onana linked with moves away before the end of the window.
Losing the latter would be a particularly fierce blow given his performances this season, with the youngster impressing in an otherwise miserable campaign.
It seems there is no danger on that front for the time being, though, with Braeckman reporting that while there is interest in the midfielder, ‘no offer’ has been made.
While everything is being studied at this point in the window, no decision has been taken and any suggestions otherwise are wide of the mark.
That can always change, of course, particularly given how Everton appear to be lurching from one choice to the next at present, but for now Onana will be staying at Goodison Park.
#Everton #Mercato https://t.co/wQTIFWSmbA
