According to today’s edition of Milliyet, scouts from Newcastle United, Lyon, Sevilla and Fiorentina will attends tonight’s match between Galatasaray and Bursaspor to watch highly rated Garry Rodrigues.
Rodrigues has been linked with a move to Newcastle United in recent months, after failed attempts by the Premier League side to sign the Cape Verde international in the last two transfer windows.
Rodrigues has been in impressive form in recent weeks, but it seems Newcastle United will now face competition to sign the 27 year old in the summer.
It’s been suggested in the Turkish media Galatasaray over holding out for €15m for Rodrigues, and earlier this week it was claimed Newcastle United will make another attempt to sign him this summer.
Milliyet also report other Premier League sides are showing an interest in the player, but these haven’t been disclosed.
