Newcastle United made attempts to sign Stanley N’Soki from PSG during the summer transfer window.
The Premier League club weren’t able to convince the youngster that a move there was the best route for his career and a transfer collapsed not too long before the summer market closed.
Rafael Benitez’s club then moved on to Sikou Niakaté, but lost out to French club Guingamp, who were able to do a deal after the English window had closed.
They’ve ‘relaunched’ for N’Soki, RMC report on Sunday.
Newcastle have, predictably, been looking for a loan and PSG have knocked it back, not keen to see the player go at this stage.
However, RMC do say there’s some worry at the French club around the 19 year old. Despite the fullback’s contract only expiring in June 2021, PSG are jittery, prompted largely by what’s happening with Adrien Rabiot.
It’s unclear if that could help Newcastle in any way, especially if they’re only interested in a loan.
