Following Casemiro’s goodbye press conference at Real Madrid, the Brazilian is now going to head to England ahead of his signing for Manchester United.

The Red Devils announced a few days ago that they had reached an agreement with the La Liga side for the defensive midfielder, and while no further steps have been taken, those will be undergone in the coming days.

Since there was no chance of the player featuring for Manchester United on Monday night against Liverpool, there is no real rush to get the full confirmation just yet, but that doesn’t mean the player won’t be in attendance.

According to El Chiringuito’s Edu Aguirre, Casemiro ‘will be at Old Trafford tonight’ to watch his new club face Jürgen Klopp’s men.

What the outcome of that game is remains to be seen, but following Manchester United’s past two results against Brighton and Brentford, there are a few believing it could turn ugly.

Perhaps it will be a good time for the Brazilian to understand the task required of him going forward, which will be to shore up Erik ten Hag’s midfield at Manchester United and give them more protection as they try to dominate games and turn the Dutchman’s vision into reality on the pitch.
