As Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah is currently linked with a move to Italy, you can only guess where the 23-year-old is currently spending his holidays.

The 23-year-old was today spotted at a hotel in Milan, and was pounced on by Sky Italia (via Calcio Mercato), who wanted a word about his future.

The Italian outlet right away wanted to know about the possibility of him playing in Serie A in the near future. Despite highlighting  his commitment to Chelsea, Chalobah didn’t rule out that scenario.

“You can’t know what the future holds for us, in the past I played in France and England. It’s possible that I can try new adventures, for a player it’s important to have the opportunity to have different experiences,” Chalobah told Sky Sport.

“I don’t know my future yet but the I like Italy, it’s a beautiful country and the championship is very good, but right now I have a contract with Chelsea and I’m focused on the present. You never know, though: as I said, I like Italy, the weather is nice and the people are kind, I feel good here.”

The Chelsea player also praised Italian football a little.

“It’s clear that the level of football here is high, it’s a great league. I’ve seen the finals, we’re talking about important formations. The whole movement has grown and I think these teams are very strong”.

Covering the quotes, Calcio Mercato point out that Chalobah is ‘among the profiles’ that Inter Milan currently study to replace Milan Skriniar this summer.

Still, other rumours from the Italian press have also been linking the player to Juventus, as he could become involved in a potential deal for Dusan Vlahovic.

So Chalobah seems to have a couple of options in Italian football, and is enjoying the country before those scenarios possibly turn into reality.
