Manchester United are tracking Altinordu’s highly rated young defender Ravil Tagir, claim Fotospor.
The 16 year old has played in all four league games so far this season and has impressed for the Turkish side.
Tagir was recently called up the Turkish U21 team and put in a decent performance in the game against England, despite Turkey losing the match 3-2.
Fotospor claim that along with Manchester United, French giants Paris Saint Germain are interested in signing the player. Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are also said to be keen, but United’s presence could make things difficult for both Istanbul clubs.
Tagir is the latest product of Altinordu’s academy after the likes of AS Roma’s Cengiz Under and Leicester City’s Caglar Soyuncu came through their system in the past few years.
The youngster has just a year left on his current contract with Altinordu and the Turkish second tier club face a battle to keep him beyond this season. If they can’t get a renewal, they may be forced to sell in January or face losing the player for just training compensation.
