Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at Real Madrid remains uncertain as the forward has been linked with a move away from the Spanish capital club.
Sport Witness was told on July 4th that Juventus’ interest in signing the Portuguese international in the summer transfer window is real, however, it was also mentioned no decision had taken on the star’s future as of Wednesday.
Ronaldo spent six seasons at Manchester United, from 2003, and joined the Red Devils from Sporting. Spanish newspaper AS claims if the 33-year-old joins Juventus for a reported €100m fee, his former clubs will benefit financially.
As per Fifa’s “solidarity mechanism”, Jose Mourinho’s side are set to receive 2.5% of the transfer fee from Ronaldo’s sale. That would come to €2.5m, while Sporting will 2.25% of the fee, making €2.25m.
Meanwhile, AS also reports Madeira National would receive €250,000 from the ex-Premier League star’s move away from the Champions League winners.
This is only possible if Ronaldo leaves Real Madrid and if the recent reports in Spain and Italy are to be believed, that could happen… but we’ve all been here before.
