Earlier today we covered claims from Germany which stated Noussair Mazraoui was holding off a move to West Ham United because he’d prefer to go to Manchester United instead.

Bayern Munich need to sell players this summer before they bring in any further additions, presenting various opportunities for interested clubs.

Now, Mazraoui’s preference for a move to Old Trafford is backed up by Santi Aouna. The journalist reiterates the defender is receiving interest from multiple clubs but he’s given his preference to Manchester United.

That’s partly because he wants to play for Erik ten Hag again. The right-back was with the manager at Ajax and would like to team up with him again.

According to Santi Aouna, the Premier League club will ‘enter into official negotiations’ in the coming days, presumably with Bayern Munich.

When the interest from West Ham and Manchester United was first reported earlier this week it was stated Bayern are hoping to get around €20-25m for the defender, but German journalist Florian Plettenberg believed €15-20m was a more realistic demand.

The 26-year-old’s contract with the Bundesliga club runs until June 2026.
