Fulham have made an extra effort to bring Raúl Jiménez back to the club immediately, helping Crystal Palace and Leeds United in the process.
That’s according to TUDN in Mexico, who state Fulham have arranged a private jet for the 33-year-old to return to London.
On Wednesday, the striker scored a goal and registered an assist for Mexico in their 2-0 friendly win over the United States in Mexico City. Fulham’s Antonee Robinson, Crystal Palace goalkeeper Matt Turner and Leeds United’s Brenden Aaronson all started for the visitors.
Fulham take on Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday, a day before Leeds host Sheffield United in the Championship. Crystal Palace face Nottingham Forest on Monday evening.
Jiménez has scored four goals from nine game for Fulham this season. He’s vital for Marco Silva and his side for the clash against the Villans. Therefore, they wanted him to quickly board the jet to London.
TUDN state he was joined by Robinson, Turner, Aaronson, Cardiff City’s Ethan Horvath, Norwich City’s Joshua Sargent and Coventry City’s Haji Wright in the private jet arranged by Fulham.
These players ‘immediately returned [to the UK on] Thursday morning’ to join their respective clubs.
