Late last week, it was revealed in France that Al-Nassr were targeting Manchester United’s Eric Bailly for a transfer.

This came as a refreshing boost for fans of the Red Devils, who might have been worried the club could be stuck with the defender following his return from a mixed loan at Marseille.

However, the Saudi club have come forward with an offer for the Manchester United outcast, where the hope would be to reunite him with Cristiano Ronaldo, and it’s all going well, according to Marc Mechenoua.

The Goal France journalist took to Twitter to reveal that ‘talks are advancing well’ between Al-Nassr and Bailly, and some sources have even said the player is ‘getting closer’ to the club.

Now, we simply have to wait and see whether an agreement can be found, and considering the Ivory Coast international is already in deep talks with the Saudi side regarding personal terms, we can only assume that finding a common ground with Manchester United shouldn’t be too much of a problem.
