France’s RMC report on Friday that Manchester United have beaten competition and should sign Noam Emeran in the next few weeks.

It’s stated the youngster ‘will sign’ for the Premier League club, despite the ‘strong attempts’ of Juventus, PSG and Valencia.

The youngster is said to have been ‘focused’ on signing for Manchester United for the past few weeks, and the attempts of other clubs to change his mind haven’t worked.

Despite being just 16 years of age, RMC say the player can earn Amiens up to €10m in transfer fee. There will be an initial payment of €2m plus bonuses and a sell-on fee which could see it rise to the headline €10m figure.

Emeran, a striker, is said to have agreed to join the English club, and now United need to finalise terms with Amiens, before being able to complete the signing.

It’s expected the deal will be finalised for the winter market.

Born in France, Emeran also qualifies to represent Belgium, and the Red Devils (The Belgian national team version) have been courting him to commit his future to them, without success so far.
