Aksam report Galatasaray are ready to make a move for Manchester City central defender Eliaquim Mangala.

The Turkish club currently have just three central defenders in their first team squad, with one of those being 18 year old Ozan Kabak.

According to Aksam, Cim Bom are looking to sign a central defender during the next transfer window and the Manchester City outcast is a serious option for the Istanbul club.

Galatasaray president Mustafa Cengiz will now fly to England in the coming days to hold talks with the Premier League champions with regards to the potential transfer.

Aksam say Manchester City are looking to offload the Frenchman in order to get him off their wage bill.

After last season’s loan spell with Everton ended with a serious injury, Mangala returned to Manchester City in the summer. However, the 27 year old has yet to make an appearance for Pep Guardiola’s side in this campaign and will need to move on to kick start his career.
