Manchester City are one of a number of clubs interested in Sevilla’s young left-back Pablo Perez, reports Marca on Monday.
The 19 year old is described as an ‘astonishing’ young talent, because of a good mixture of his ability and also his good attitude. Marca point out that despite the current lack of football, it hasn’t stopped clubs working behind the scenes on transfers, and also trying to sort out renewals.
Sevilla don’t want to lose Pablo Perez, so would like to get him signed up to a new deal as soon as possible.
Manchester City are joined by Ajax and RB Leipzig in their interest, with the Dutch club picked out as being the most keen at this stage.
All three named clubs are ‘willing to pay’ the youngster’s clause, and whilst Marca don’t state what that is, it’s made very clear the amount would be affordable for those who are interested.
Pedro Perez hasn’t yet made a concrete jump to Sevilla’s first team, although he’s training with them regularly.
It’s now down to Monchi to make sure the player isn’t lost to Manchester City or one of the other interested parties.
