Nahuel Ferraresi is one of those players who, despite belonging to Manchester City for a long time, has never had the chance to play under Pep Guardiola.

The defender was signed by the Premier League side back in 2017.

Since then, the Manchester City player was loaned to Montevideo City Torque, Peralada, Porto, Moreirense and finally Estoril, where he spent the last season.

Now the 23-year-old could be on his way back to South America, according to reports from Brazil.

UOL today writes that São Paulo are ‘internally studying for weeks’ the signing of Ferraresi.

The player is said to be in Manchester City’s list of outgoing transfers this summer, who have decided to sell him, not even considering the chances of a new loan.

That’s why they turned down other approaches from Portugal for more temporary spells.

The story from UOL claims the Premier League side would accept to negotiate the player for only €1m, as long as they keep 50% of a future sale.

They also add that despite the interest, São Paulo are still to place an official bid on Manchester City’s table.
