West Ham United loanee Nikola Vlasic has been a reason of worry for Croatia, who had him replaced at half-time in the World Cup clash against Morocco.

With the midfielder being subbed off because of a calf injury, there was some concern regarding that issue, with the media today reporting he’d ‘carry out tests’ to understand how serious the problem was.

The West Ham player is currently having a spell at Torino, and that’s why it’s the Italian press who continue bringing the news.

There was meant to be an update on Thursday, and it has finally come from Croatia manager Zlatko Dalic, who claims the player should be fine soon.

“Vlasic has done the exams and it doesn’t seem to be anything to worry about. He should train tomorrow so we’ll reevaluate him,” said Dalic (via SOS Fanta).

With Croatia drawing against Morocco, they’ve seen Belgium reach the top of Group F after beating Canada.

Therefore, Vlasic’s side must be sure they win their game against the North Americans just so they can be more calm about the final fixture against the Red Devils.

For them to be more confident, the recovery of the West Ham loanee would certainly be helpful.
