Barcelona manager Xavi is ‘crazy’ about Tottenham forward Richarlison, which could lead to a ‘maxi exchange’ with Franck Kessie.

That’s according to Inter Live, who say the Brazilian star could be on his way out of after a miserable first year at Tottenham following a move from Everton last summer.

He’s only manager two goals and four assists in 28 games for Spurs this season, having suffered several frustrating injuries throughout the campaign and been unable to oust Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane.

It remains to be seen if the next Tottenham manager plans to stick with him or cut his losses but if it is the latter, there may be an option on the table.

Inter Live say that Barcelona are looking to move Franck Kessie on this summer and Tottenham are one of the ones who are interested in his signature.

That could end up in a ‘maxi-exchange’ between the two clubs, also involving Clément Lenglet, as they would also like to sign Richarlison, who manager Xavi likes ‘like crazy’ about.

He sees the Brazilian as a potential alternative to Robert Lewandowski, with the Catalans having struggled for alternatives to the Polish superstar this season.

How the deal would work isn’t made clear, but it would at least see Richarlison going to the Nou Camp with Kessie and Lenglet going the other way in one of the bolder transfers of the summer.
