Ever since the 2-0 defeat to Burnley in the Premier League at home in January, Manchester United have been unbeaten in 11 matches played in all competitions.

During this period, the Red Devils have managed to beat Chelsea and Manchester City in the league and progress further in the FA Cup and Europa League. They have scored 29 goals, keeping nine clean sheets and conceding only two goals in the last 11 matches.

After enduring ups and downs in the first half of the season, United are enjoying a good run under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Norwegian has also started planning for the summer, which indicates he has backing from the Old Trafford club’s board and his position at the club is not in danger.

However, Bild think otherwise as they state Manchester United are looking at other candidates and have set their eyes on Bayern Munich’s Hans-Dieter Flick. His current deal with the Bundesliga winners runs down after this season.

On March 5th, Kicker reported there has been ‘concrete enquires’ for Bayern Munich manager Hans-Dieter Flick from the Premier League, but details of the clubs weren’t mentioned.

With United now dragged into the mix, it sounds like a ploy from Flick’s agent to put pressure on Bayern to appoint him as their manager beyond this campaign.
