Turkish newspaper Gunes report Manchester City are the latest club to show an interest in Galatasaray central defender Ozan Kabak.
The Galatasaray academy product has been promoted to the first team by manager Fatih Terim this season and the 18 year old has impressed for Gala with his performances.
Now a regular under Terim, it’s no surprise some big European clubs are tracking the progress of the youngster. According to Gunes, Manchester City are one of these.
It’s reported Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is aware of Kabak and has told his scouts to monitor the player throughout the season. The Manchester City boss will reportedly make a decision in May on whether to sign the young defender based on the feedback he gets back from his scouts.
Gunes says along with Manchester City, clubs like AS Roma, Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan are all showing an interest in the player. Subsequently Galatasaray are looking to tie Kabak down by offering him an improved long term deal.
Kabak has made 10 appearances for Galatasaray this season, with two of those coming in the Champions League.
