The transfer window may have only closed on Friday night, but rumours are already picking up ahead of the summer.

Clubs tend to focus their recruitment on the end of season window, and with the winter market now out of the way, eyes immediately turn to the bigger business of the next window.

FCInterNews report Inter Milan remain keen on Pedro De La Vega, but now they face competition from Manchester City.

The 18 year old forward currently plays for Lanus, and has been in the sights of Inter for some time. Already keen in the summer, the Serie A side saw a move for De La Vega fail, and now they’d face a fight to gain the forward’s services.

Premier League interest brought the file back to Inter’s table in December, with the worry they could miss out in the winter market. Finances were tight given the other spending Antonio Conte’s club undertook, yet no English club made a definitive move.

Manchester City are now the ‘most interested’ side from England’s top division. It’s not explained, but it’s likely the City Football Group’s interest would initially be for one of their other clubs.
