Liverpool youngster Fábio Carvalho has revealed he is working behind the scenes to help Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez with any language difficulties.

Carvalho has established himself as a fully-fledged member of the Liverpool first team this season after making the move from Fulham in the summer.

He is one of several new faces at the club, with Liverpool undergoing a small rebuild in the summer in an attempt to keep things fresh.

The most high profile of those arrivals was Nunez, who arrived in a £67.5m deal from Benfica as the out and out centre forward many believe Liverpool have required for several years.

The striker has endured a tough start to life at Anfield, though, recently revealing that he was struggling with the language and understanding manager Jurgen Klopp.

That’s an issue he and the club are working to get around and Carvalho has revealed he is doing his part where he can.

“I’ve been in England for about 10 years, but at the end of the day I’m Portuguese, I was born in Portugal, and I really like the country,” A Bola report him saying.

“For players who come from abroad it is much easier to talk to them and make it easier for them to come, knowing Portuguese.

“Darwin and Luis Diaz are very close. I help them because they can’t speak English that well.”
