Dani Ceballos’ performance at the Euro U21 championship with Spain hasn’t gone unnoticed and he’s drawing attention from the Premier League.

Two days ago, Marca reported Liverpool’s interest in the Real Madrid midfielder has grown in recent weeks.

On Thursday, the same newspaper explained the Real Madrid midfielder could be the Reds’ next Xabi Alonso.

They further went on state the Champions League winners want the Spain U21 international on a permanent transfer, but without a buyback clause.

Sport now states otherwise as they claim the Reds’ offer is one of the most interesting and they would accept a transfer with repurchase option.

Los Blancos have come up with a plan to sell the 22-year-old for €50m and include a buyback clause at a higher price.

Jurgen Klopp ‘wants’ the 22-year-old and his side are ‘willing to bet heavily’ on him.

Tottenham Hotspur are another club who have submitted an offer and Ceballos is studying the proposals he has received so far.

Liverpool agreeing to a buyback feels a little unlikely, unless the amount would represent a very good profit.
