There’s been a lot of buzz around the future of Moise Kean, whose contract at Juventus is set to run out in 2020.
Loaned out last season to Hellas Verona, the young forward was kept around this season, but with the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, his game time has been very limited, which isn’t helping his development.
Talk of Leeds interest in his services, which originally dates back to January, resurfaced, and there were claims a week ago the Elland Road based club had made the ‘better offer’ of those keen.
However, nothing appears to have been accepted yet as Juventus, before sending their starlet away, have decided to renew his contract as a safety net should he excel elsewhere.
What is a clear, however, according to Calciomercato, is that it’s ‘very likely’ that Kean does go out on loan in January, and we wouldn’t be surprised, after all the reports, if Leeds were among those trying to snap him up for the second half of the season.
They face tough competition, as previous articles suggested clubs like Marseille and Galatasaray were also in the mix, but if Marcelo Bielsa can guarantee him game time and Victor Orta proves convincing, who knows?
