Italian newspaper Tuttosport today features a story on the future of Tommaso Pobega, who’s been playing for Spezia on a loan from AC Milan this season.

His first three league goals have apparently impressed the Rossoneri, who already see a future for him once he returns to the club.

His potential has also been drawing interest from foreign sides, in a list which includes Leicester City.

The Foxes are said to be one of the clubs who have set eyes on him, even though Milan don’t seem eager to let the 21-year-old go for good so soon.

Following having all his academy years at Milan and playing in Serie B on loan spells, the midfielder is finally getting his first chance in the first division this season.

Even though Spezia have a buying option over Pobega, Milan are well protected with the right of buying him back in that case.

Tuttosport points out the Rossoneri could make between €10m and €12m with his sale, but the plan is actually to bring him back and make him part of the first team squad in the summer.

Besides Leicester City, other clubs from England and Germany are also said to be in the competition. Perhaps that could mean a little auction for the youngster, even though it looks hard to convince the Serie A giants at this stage.
