Turkish newspaper Takvim claim Leicester City are showing an interest in Fenerbahce captain Hasan Ali Kaldirim ahead of the summer transfer window.
It’s reported the Foxes are keen to sign the 30 year old left-back, who will become a free agent at the end of the season. Leicester City are now able to open talks with the player over a pre-contract agreement.
Leicester could lose Ben Chilwell and last week the Premier League side were linked with Olympiacos left back Kostas Tsimikas.
Kaldirim has been battling with injuries since the start of the season and there are reports in the Turkish media that Fener won’t extend his contract beyond this season. The former Kayserispor player has been at the club for eight years but he could look to move on this summer.
He was linked with a move to West Ham United last summer but remained with the Yellow Canaries.
The Turkish international has only managed to make 12 appearances this season in all competitions due to injuries. That makes Leicester interest sound rather fortunate, unless the Foxes would be looking at signing him along with another option such as Alex Telles.
