According to a claim in the Italian media, Moise Kean could be used as bait by Juventus to sign Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin.

Kean was linked with an move to Leeds United in the last transfer window, and it always looked something of a long-shot.

Tuttosport today report Juventus are hoping to tie up a deal for Perin within the next 48 hours as they look for a heir to the departed Gianluigi Buffon and someone to rival Wojciech Szczęsny.

Perin has often been touted as the goalkeeper who would replace him in the Italian national team but serious injuries have stalled his career.

At the moment Genoa and Juventus can’t agree on a fee for Perin with his current club valuing him at €20m, whilst the Serie A champions want to offer just €12m.

Subsequently Juventus could look to use fringe players to get a deal done and Kean is one of those who could be offered to Genoa.

Leeds United were linked with Kean in the last window with two claims in the Italian press the Championship side had made a bid for the 17 year old.

It was claimed Leeds United wanted to loan the player without a right of redemption, but it would have taken something special to get a deal done.
