Argentine newspaper Olé features today a front page with Mauricio Isla. With no shirt on, the left-back tries to look sexy as he drinks his maté.
The reason for this kind of image is that he’s a dream signing for Boca Juniors this summer. The Chilean international is out of contract with Fenerbahçe, and is free to choose his new club.
There are other sides who’ve been interested in his transfer, including Leeds United, but Olé believes the Buenos Aires club would still have an advantage in the race.
The outlet writes that Betis, Leeds and Valencia have all been interested in his signing, but the problem is that none of these clubs will be playing the Champions League or the Europa League next season.
Olé considers that Boca Juniors would have more to offer, as besides fighting for the Argentine League title, they also have a shot at the Copa Libertadores.
Isla is one of the many South American players who’ve been reported as Marcelo Bielsa’s targets for the next season, and was managed by the Argentine when he was in charge of the Chile national team years ago.
