Leeds United midfielder Weston McKennie is attracting interest from around Europe thanks to his performances while on loan at Elland Road.
That’s according to Tuttosport, relayed by ilBiancoNero, who say the midfielder could be moved on elsewhere if Leeds end up relegated from the Premier League this season.
McKennie joined the Whites on loan in the January transfer window and has been a regular in the side since under Jesse Marsch and now Javi Gracia.
The deal includes an option for Leeds to make it a permanent switch, but it has been made clear that is more of a gentleman’s agreement than anything concrete.
If they do go down, it is unlikely they will sign the American permanently and he would thus return to Juventus, but that might work out well for the Italians as there are other suitors for him.
McKennie is very much on their list of players to be moved on this summer and his performances at Leeds, despite the fact they are not having a ‘great season’, have not gone unnoticed.
The newspaper states that ‘many European clubs like him’ and would seemingly be ready to move if he returns to Turin at the end of the season.
