With the arrival of Maurizio Sarri, Chelsea will be able to fully kick off their transfer window, and boy do they have big plans, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

it appears that the former Napoli manager isn’t all that pleased with the squad Antonio Conte put together at Stamford Bridge, meaning he’s planning on making a few changes with Roman Abramovich’s money.

First off, the defence.

The recent rumours sending Davide Zappacosta to Inter suggest a new right-back could be on his way, and Gazzetta believe that man will be Elseid Hysaj, currently at Napoli.

If possible, Sarri would also like to add a new centre-back to the Chelsea squad, with Daniele Rugani and Kostas Manolas the two potential targets here.

Moving onto the midfield, the former Napoli manager is considering Inter’s Matias Vecino and Nice’s Jean-Michael Seri.

As for his attack, it appears Sarri is content with the options of Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata, as his targets will be wingers more than anything else.

Down the right, Gazzetta believe he’ll once again raid his old club, this time for José Callejon.

Down the left? Anthony Martial, whom Manchester United have no interest in selling this summer, even if the player himself, via his agent, has made it clear he’d rather leave.

That’s a lot of names, and we highly doubt these will all be purchased, especially when the French forward would cost around £60m+ by himself.

First, however, we’re still waiting for Antonio Conte to get fired.
