Liverpool have become the latest Premier League side to be credited with interest in Napoli’s Stanislav Lobotka.

A week ago, we covered a claim from Italy that the midfielder’s agent has received calls from Chelsea and Manchester City.

TuttoMercatoWeb discuss the 27-year-old’s long-term future at the Serie A side and also mention his suitors, which includes Liverpool.

With regards to the Reds, it’s claimed ‘there has been an interest in him from Liverpool’. They are joined by the Blues and Manchester United.

It is unlikely Jürgen Klopp’s side or others will have a chance to take him away from Napoli in the coming windows. That’s because the Naples club have made progress to tie him down to a new contract.

The Slovakia international’s current deal expires in 2025 and his ‘choice’ is to continue at the club for a long time.

Amid interest from Liverpool and others, TMW state Lobotka will sign a new contract until 2028, with an option to extend it by a further year. This will also see his salary improve to €3m per year plus €500,000 bonus.

It’s further claimed Lobotka will sign the new contract in November, and he also stands in line to receive a €2m signing on bonus.
