Valencia star Goncalo Guedes has admitted he will talk to his representatives this summer amid reported interest from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Guedes has rediscovered his best form for the Spanish side again this season, scoring 13 goals and registering six assists in 36 games in all competitions so far.

He’s been a key player for Jose Bordalas and, in the process, revalued himself ahead of the summer window when it’s believed both he and Valencia may now look to part ways.

Wolves have been brought back into the picture, having long been linked with a  move for the 25-year-old but never bitten the bullet.

That could happen this summer, and earlier this month, it was reported that they had ‘positioned themselves’ for a possible deal as manager Bruno Lage is a big fan of the player.

They would have to battle Roma for the Portugal international but do have the added advantage of their relationship with super-agent Jorge Mendes, who represents the player.

That could give Wolves the edge, and now Guedes has made it clear he is interested in looking at any deals that are presented to him.

“I’m focusing on being at Valencia,” he told Deportes Cope Valencia.

“Now we have the final; we have more matches in La Liga with which we can finish higher in the table.

“When the season is over, I will talk to my people, to the club. If there is a good proposal for me and it is also good for the club, we have to look at it.

“Right now, I’m very focused on Valencia, and I want to stay here.”
