Brighton & Hove Albion’s Jakub Moder is edging closer to returning to the pitch after a long spell on the sidelines, according to Meczyki.pl.

The midfielder’s last outing was against Norwich City in April 2022, where he suffered a serious knee injury, forcing him to go under the knife. He faced complications during his recovery, leading him to undergo a second operation.

Moder had been training individually and it’s explained that the 24-year-old’s situation has improved, and this is a boost for both Roberto De Zerbi and the Seagulls.

Meczyki.pl state the 24-year-old is now ‘training at full speed’ with the first team and this is ‘great news’ for Brighton, considering the Poland international’s return now looks ‘more realistic’, after previous setbacks.

The outlet states Moder’s return is ‘getting closer’ but make no mention of when he could be available.

Brighton have a busy schedule after this month’s international break and Moder’s recovery will certainly please them, but they’ll know they need to take things slowly.
