Reports from Italy on Valentino Lazaro suggest his move from Inter Milan, on loan with a buying option, is likely to come down to what personal terms are offered, with RB Leipzig, Werder Bremen and West Ham dragged into the picture for extra drama.
The Magpies are also closing in on Nabil Bentaleb, with claims the midfielder has arrived in England to go through a medical check. Those claims are backed up by Bild, with the German newspaper stating the Schalke midfielder is on the verge of a transfer to Newcastle.
The transfer could take place today, and it’s stated there’s discussion over a loan with a purchase option for the Premier League club. Bild describe Bentaleb as a ‘Problem Professional’, which will be due to his mixed time in German football.
