Davinson Sánchez and Abdülkerim Bardakci are set to be in contention for Galatasaray when they face Manchester United in the Champions League on Wednesday.
That’s according to today’s Sabah, who provides positive updates on the duo who have formed a partnership in the heart of the Turkish club’s defence.
There were concerns over the 27-year-old Colombia’s involvement against Manchester United after he was taken off in his side’s 4-0 win over Alanyaspor at the weekend.
It’s said the former Tottenham Hotspur man’s injury is ‘not serious’ and is ‘ready for duty’, to face the Red Devils.
Bardakci, on the other hand, was forced to miss the last league tie after he ‘felt pain’. He was left out in order to avoid taking risks for the European clash against Erik ten Hag’s side.
This seems more of a precautionary measure as Sabah explain the 29-year-old Turkey international and Sánchez are both ‘ready’ to face Manchester United.
Ten Hag’s side suffered a 3-2 loss against Galatasaray at Old Trafford and a defeat in Istanbul will end their hope of progressing to the knockout stage of the competition.
Manchester United are bottom of the table, a point behind second placed FC Copenhagen and third placed Galatasaray.
