Fulham are close to completing a deal for the signing of Shakhtar Donetsk winger Manor Solomon, according to reports.
Calcio Mercato claims that the Cottagers are about to buy the 22-year-old in an €8m deal, giving the Ukrainian side a percentage of a future sale.
The Italian website is obviously covering the news because Solomon had been linked to a few Serie A sides in the past few months.
However, they point out the Premier League had been the ‘probable’ destination, and that’s where Fulham will take him to, following their recent promotion from the Championship.
Calcio Mercato points out that only six months ago, the valuation for Solomon had been between €25m and €30m. However, a lot changed recently, including the situation that Shakhtar Donetsk are going through with the invasion of Ukraine.
So the report points out that an €8m deal can be considered a ‘real bargain’, with Fulham managing to pull off a great agreement here.
