Grzegorz Krychowiak was linked repeatedly with a move to the Premier League before he left Sevilla.
With a style many thought could suit English football, Krychowiak seemed ready and waiting to make the switch, and a reasonable buyout clause also helped.
Arsenal were easily the most linked club with the Polish midfielder, and the links were strong on more than once occasion. In the end, Krychowiak moved to PSG and things haven’t gone well at all.
PSG don’t really need him, and it probably wasn’t the wisest transfer for any party in the first place. Now a switch to West Brom is looking like a real possibility.
L’Equipe report Krychowiak is now in talks with West Brom over a loan move to the Baggies, which could work out well for the player.
If West Brom manage to get a buying option it could also work out well for the Premier League club, because the player’s perceived value will be much more next summer if he succeeds during the loan.
West Brom signing Krychowiak would obviously put some doubt over their move for Fenerbahce’s Josef de Souza, with claims in Turkey and Brazil a fee has been agreed.
