At Sport Witness, not only do we try and keep up to date with the latest player transfer stories, but we also keep an eye out with staff movement around the Premier League.

Extremely successful in their recruitment over the past few years, Leicester have Steve Walsh, now Everton’s director of football, to thank for bringing in players key to their league success last year such as Riyad Mahrez and , and replacing him could prove very tricky.

According to France Football in France, however, the club have been trying to convince Lens’ head of recruitment, Reda Hammache, to join their ranks as they look to continue their tradition of signing relatively unknown players to help them achieve their goals.

Hammache, who has worked for quite a few clubs in France, has a very good track record of finding young starlets around the Paris area, including reported Chelsea and Manchester United target Tiemoué Bakayoko and Arsenal starlet Jeff Reine-Adélaïde.

The latter of the two has been hyped a lot at the Emirates, with Arsène Wenger showing a lot of faith in the 18-year-old, playing him in all three of Arsenal’s EFL Cup games this season.

Hammache is also a target for quite a few Ligue 1 clubs, having also discovered Monaco’s Kylian Mbappé, and Marseille, who are looking to revamp their entire organisation, have also approached the talented scout, providing some healthy competition for Leicester.
