AS claim fans’ relationship with the Red Devils board didn’t help Real Madrid in signing the 26-year-old. United vice chairman Ed Woodward was aware his position at the club would be questioned, if he had sanctioned Pogba’s sale.

The ex-Juventus star still has three years left on his contract and the report states its still not clear if United will allow Pogba to leave next summer.

It’s unlikely AS know the inner thoughts of Ed Woodward,  but that he’d be wary over his position isn’t so outlandish.
