Following Tuesday’s news saying AFC Bournemouth and Inter Milan have an agreement for the transfer of Ionut Radu, the move is now confirmed by his agent, with their headline claiming he said “everything is done”.

Outlet FcInterNews managed to speak to Oscar Damiani, the player’s representative, who showed his excitement about the agreement.

“Yes, we are all happy, both us, the player and Inter.”

Quizzed if the loan with the right to buy is something that ‘satisfy’ them, he claimed that was negotiated by him as well.

“It’s what we set ourselves, together with the Nerazzurri.”

Damiani was also asked if besides Bournemouth, there were other clubs trying to sign the goalkeeper. But he didn’t really want to feed that kind of story.

“This is now no longer important. Radu is in the most important tournament in the world, let’s hope he does well.”

We first saw CalcioMercato breaking out the news on Tuesday, claiming Bournemouth and Inter Milan had agreed a deal for the loan with the option to buy.

Then journalist Gianluca Di Marzio showed up to say that the redemption can be made for €8m, and the player was already set to travel to England for his medicals.

The Cherries shall now have a good chance to test him before deciding whether to spend that money on his signing, and he’ll have a great opportunity to prove himself in the Premier League.
