Moise Kean spent much of last season on loan from Everton at PSG, and did pretty well for the French club.

Having failed to fight his way through under Carlo Ancelotti at Goodison Park, the Italian forward made 40 appearances for PSG, split between starting and coming on a substitute, and scored 14 goals.

Inevitably, there were repeat claims the Ligue 1 side would look to make the move permanent, then in the summer it didn’t seem like serious moves were being made.

L’Equipe now say that was because Everton were simply asking for too much money, at least as far as the Paris club were concerned. According to the French newspaper, the Toffees ‘demands’ amounted to €30m, a figure which saw PSG’s interest quickly cool.

For Everton, that didn’t prove to be a big problem, and they agreed a deal to send Kean back to Juventus on a two year loan with a buying option around €28m. That option is thought to include clauses which make it near automatic as long as Juve don’t further fall to pieces.

Kean has made five appearances for the Turin club so far this season, mainly as a substitute, and has scored one goal.
